Sterling Renovations for excellent quality, project management and costumer service.

We hired Sterling Renovations to build our extension. We went to see another extension they completed, which looked very good, and spoke to the customers who were full of compliments. From the start we were impressed with the communication about the work and the detailed itinerary that followed. The project management was spot on, clear, honest and friendly (thank you Lloyd!). The builders were respectful and knowledgeable. They were polite and softly spoken toward our family and our neighbours. The work they delivered was of high quality, perfectly on time and budget, and snags were dealt with efficiently and without any trouble. We’ve never worked with a building company that delivered such quality work and great costumer care. A final great touch: they cleaned the extension and brought us flowers and some lovely cakes (see picture). Sterling Renovations may not be the cheapest provider on the market, but if you want to invest in your home, you will be hard pushed to find anyone better. They are worth it!

Sterling did an amazing job on our kitchen renovation. What started as just the kitchen turned into a roof replacement and a new living space due to unforeseen issues. Despite these additions, they still finished on time with stunning results.

Lloyd was incredibly responsive, answering emails and questions at all hours, even on weekends. He managed the project efficiently, handling last-minute changes and increasing the team when needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble, a true testament to their professionalism and dedication.

We had the pleasure of working with Lloyd and the Sterling Renovations team between April and November 2024 for a major refurbishment and extension of our house in Iffley Village, Oxford. From start to finish, the experience has been outstanding.

Communication was excellent throughout the project. The team was always willing to openly discuss any issues that arose, ensuring we were kept in the loop and felt confident in the progress being made. Their professionalism shone through not only in the quality of their work but also in how they engaged with us. They were always courteous, respectful, and dedicated to delivering the project. We particularly appreciated their honesty and fairness in settling commercial matters. There were no hidden costs or surprises, and they were transparent about all aspects of the project.

Additionally, their guidance through processes such as Building Control sign-off was invaluable, making what could have been a stressful experience much smoother.

Overall, we couldn't be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend Sterling Renovations to anyone looking for a reliable and professional contractor.

All of the team were polite and professional. From contract agreement to conclusion of the work communication was quick and productive and easy. The work is bang on and we are pleased with their effort. So much so have booked them for more work next year. Give them a call.

They renovated several rooms including new skylight windows, changing the internal floor plan / layout, installing hardwood flooring, installing a feature freestanding bath in the bedroom and a custom bathroom cupboard with floor to ceiling mirrors in the doors.
